Semester Break
This week is the time to take a deep breath after several hectic weeks doing all my assignments. Assignments after assignments were really occupying my mind. Not long after I handed in my assignment, the lecturer gave me another one and later in some following weeks the last assignements are due. Oh my God, this is how it feels studying overseas. I had a thought about how hard studying abroad but in fact the reality is even harder than I thought. However, I enjoy this all bits and pieces about my study in UQ. This is going to be my precious experience for my whole life if I couldn’t reach any further degree.
It was totally different way studyig in my country and here in UQ. The system of learning, the making meaning of each course is becoming the focus of study. How could it become like this? Do you think Indonesia will reach this point?
Anyway, some entertaining activities have been filling up my semester break, starting from the beginning of the week for a Bryon Bay trip.
It was fun but the time was too short to swim and have fun in the beach. I decided not to swim though i really wanted to. The next fun thing is going to be my friends’ daughter birthday, Barbeque with Uqisa and Farewell party with my devastated bosses on Sunday in Guyatt park.
What’s next? My presentation is due on Monday, Dough!
